Welcome to the Levy County Schools Foundation website.  The Levy County Schools Foundation was established as a non-profit Incorporation in 1989 and is recognized by the State of Florida as the Education Foundation for the Levy County School District.

Mission Statement: 

We are committed to supporting public education in Levy County by developing resources to encourage educational innovation, promote and recognize excellence and address the needs of all students, faculty, and staff.  We serve collaboratively with business and community members as an independent 501(c)3 organization.

Schools Served by the Foundation:

Bronson Elementary School, Bronson Middle/High School, Cedar Key School, Chiefland Elementary School, Chiefland Middle/High School, Levy Learning Center, Joyce Bullock Elementary School, Williston Elementary School, Williston Middle School, Williston High School, and Yankeetown School

Highlights of Foundation programs:

STARS Gala-  Each February: Premiere fundraiser event

Evening of Excellence-Each Spring: honoring Teacher, ESP, and Volunteer of the Year from each school in the District.

Classroom Grants: throughout the year-provided through employee payroll deductions, corporate sponsors, and civic organizations.

Grants for Great Ideas: these grants are larger school & program focused grants

Student Scholarship Program: funded through businesses, civic organizations, families, and individuals.

Stuff the Bus-Each August: community donations of school supplies.  All supplies collected remain in the community and provided to students in need through their schools.

New Employee Orientation-Each August: inform new employees on benefits, contracts,expectations and LCSF opportunities.

Grant Funding: from Duke Energy,  Capital City Bank, Suncoast Credit Union, and the State of Florida to promote education for students in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Career and Technical Education. Funds are also used to provide resources for low performing students, classroom supplies for academic enhancement, and instructional support/professional development for teachers.

Beast Feast-Each Fall: Fundraising community event in a casual, relaxed setting with good food provided by school and business partners, door prizes and a live auction.
