2014 Cycle for Education Event

Come join us on April 19, 2014 for a fun day of cycling for a great cause. Registration fee is $30.  You can register NOW on Active.com or print the registration/waiver and mail with payment to LCSF.

 

Event Details
Our event will begin at 8:00 am on April 19, 2014 at The Gathering Table located in the Chiefland Shopping Center at 116 North Main Street, Hwy 19/98 Chiefland, Florida. The ride will be on the beautiful, paved Nature Coast Trail.

  • This ride has options up to a 48 mile course, with the option to ride farther on a peaceful, scenic, rural ride. Ride as little or as long as you would like into Dixie or Gilchrist Counties.
  • As always, you will receive a FREE event T-shirt, a great goodie bag, continental breakfast and a delicious lunch with your paid registration.

  • Classroom Grants-provided through employee payroll deductions, and corporate sponsors awarded more than $10,000
  • Student Scholarship Program-over $59,000 awarded in 2012
  • Stuff the Bus-Aug. 2012: community donations of school supplies
  • New Employee Orientation-August 2012: inform new employees on benefits, contracts, and LCSF
  • Grant Funding: from Progress Energy, AT&T, Capital City Bank, Perkins State Bank, Plum Creek, Suncoast Federal Credit Union and the State of Florida to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, Career and Technical Education for Students and Adults, provide resources for low performing students, classroom supplies for academic enhancement, and instructional support for teachers
